The Class 755 bi-mode multiple unit trains are built by Stadler Rail for Greater Anglia as one of five EMU’s for the UK, part of the highly configurable FLIRT modular train family and designed for greater capacity, the typical 25 kV 50 Hz AC overhead power supply, and comfort over long-distance journeys. The Class 755 entered service on the 29th of July 2019 having been delivered to Greater Anglia the previous November.

The Hornby R3963A Hornby OO Gauge Greater Anglia, Class 755/3 'Flirt' 3 Car Train Pack requires two decoders for full Digital Command Control (DCC) operation. Each driving end (Driving Motor Standard, or DMS) of the train is equipped with a 21-pin decoder socket. These sockets are easily accessible by removing a magnetic cover on each cab, allowing for straightforward decoder installation

You have the option to install either two conventional 21-pin DCC decoders or two Hornby HM7000 Bluetooth® decoders. The HM7000 decoders enable control via Hornby's HM|DCC app, offering a modern and flexible approach to operating your model railway .

If you prefer to operate the train in analogue mode, no decoders are necessary. However, to take full advantage of digital features such as independent control of each driving car, installing two decoders is recommended.​
